"Sexologist" psychiatrist Stephen Bronster charged with sexually abusing patient

On July 10, 2012, psychiatrist and “sexologist” Stephen Bronster, of Valley Stream, New York, was charged with sexually abusing a patient. He has pleaded not guilty. 

Prosecutors said Bronster, who is certified by the American Board of Sexology, had his patient undress during sessions, and on one occasion showed her a pornographic video in his office.

At their last session on Jan. 10, he touched her genitals under her clothing, prosecutors said.
