September 12, 2006

Maine psychiatrist Ardell W. Diessner agreed to voluntarily surrender his medical license in a Consent Agreement signed with the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. In 2006 the Board received information alleging that Dr. Diessner, a psychiatrist, had repeatedly touched a patient after being asked not to and that a caseworker had to step between Dr. Diessner and the patient.
