Counselor suspended for sex with client

On July 7, 2013, the Washington State Department of Health (DoH) suspended the license of counselor Scott D. Hale. The DoH’s findings of fact state that Hale reported to his employer and the DoH that engaged in sexual intercourse three times with a client whom he was counseling for childhood sexual abuse.
