Arkansas suspends psychiatrist Todd Clements following drug conviction

On July 17, 2013, the Arkansas State Medical Board suspended the license of psychiatrist Todd M. Clements on an emergency basis.

On November 15, 2012, Clements, of Plano, Texas, was convicted of three counts of obtaining controlled substances by fraudulently issuing prescriptions.

He permanently surrendered his Texas medical license on November 14.

Specifically, on August 5, 2009 and March 1, 2010, Clements obtained the controlled substances Lisdexamphetamine and Zolpidem, by issuing fraudulent prescriptions.
