Child psychologist sanctioned for stalking and harrassing a man

December 11, 2017

Dr. Jenny Parker, a psychologist in the United Kingdom, was found guilty of stalking an individual over a period of three years.  She was ordered to carry out unpaid work, pay compensation and obey a restraining order, but kept her job.

The Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service (HCPTS) panel gave her a formal caution after meeting last week to decide if the conviction affected her fitness to practise.  An HCPTS report said: “The Panel was of the view that the registrant has, by reason of her conviction, based on some three and a half years of inappropriate conduct, brought the profession into disrepute." The caution does not affect her ability to work, but remains on her record for three years.
