Australian psychologist had sex and got drunk with ex-patient who had an alcohol problem

In June 2017, Brooke Ledner, a psychologist in New South Wales, Australia, was banned from providing health services for a year after she counselled a patient with an alcohol problem then went on to have a relationship with him which included having sex and getting drunk.  The relationship lasted for several months.  

She also spoke to him of being intoxicated, intimated that she was driving while intoxicated and made references suggesting she was using alcohol as a coping mechanism.

She admitted to unsatisfactory professional conduct between June and October 2014 and professional misconduct from then until January 2015.
