State Suspends Psychologist Gregory L. Williams for Theft

July 12, 2018

Olympia, WA - Psychologist Gregory L. Williams has been suspended by the state Board of Psychology for depositing or cashing more than $49,000 worth of checks that weren’t his. In February 2017, he began to open mail addressed to other providers in his office and deposit or cash checks that he found.

In April, Williams was criminally charged with one count of first-degree theft and one count of first-degree identity theft in Thurston County Superior Court, according to the state. The state Department of Health announced the suspension Thursday. Williams has 20 days to respond to the state and request a hearing.
