January 1, 2010

In January 2010, The Health Professions Council of South Africa suspended psychologist W.H.E. Wilmans for 18 months (with nine months suspended for a period of five years, so long as he is not found guilty of a similar offense during that period) for unprofessional conduct.  The Council’s report states that Wilmans engaged in a sexual relationship with a client from November until December 2008.
