Oregon suspends psychologist Tara Holstein for unlicensed practice

June 11, 2012

On September 23, 2011, the Oregon Board of Psychologist Examiners accepted the permanent surrender of Tara Holstein's psychologist license.

According to the Board’s Stipulated Final Order, Holstein, who was licensed in the state of Kansas in July 2008, subsequently moved to Oregon, where, in November 2008, she began providing clinical supervision to clinical staff at Rain Rock Treatment Center in Eugene. She did not submit an application for Oregon licensure until May 20, 2009. This constituted the unlicensed practice of psychology.

I suspected that she was a nut job just by viewing her social media. So many of these so called psychologists are liars and actually do more damage than good. Always check them out first before going to them.
