July 24, 2007

On July 24, 2007, the Delaware Medical Board revoked psychiatrist Rafael Combalecer’s license. Dr. Combalecer was convicted and jailed for six months in 2006 for criminal sexual conduct—he had grabbed the genitals of a male inmate in the Michigan prison where he was employed. Dr. Combalecer’s actions resulted not only in a jail sentence, but the loss of his professional licenses in Michigan, New York and now, Delaware. 1
