Family Help & Wellness: New Lawsuit against Asheville Academy Alleges Child Sexual Abuse

A former resident of Asheville Academy for Girls filed a federal lawsuit on October 17, 2025, alleging sexual assault, neglect, forced labor, and abuse cover-ups during their stay at the now-closed Black Mountain facility from August 2020 to 2021.
