LifeWorks Counseling Pays $300K to Settle Federal False Claims Case

LifeWorks Counseling Associates, a New Hampshire telehealth counseling practice owned by clinical social worker Dr. David Ferruolo, agreed to pay $300,000 to settle federal allegations that the company billed Medicaid for services rendered by Erik Alonso, a psychotherapist excluded from all federal health care programs.
