Louisiana Psychologist Jeanette Edmonds Arrested for Child Abandonment

Jeanette Edmonds, a 43-year-old licensed psychologist from Tickfaw, Louisiana, was arrested after police say she left an 8-year-old child alone at a laundromat in Ponchatoula. According to police, a witness called 911 after seeing Edmonds drive away and leave the child behind. Authorities said this was the third alleged attempt that day to abandon the child, with earlier attempts reportedly occurring at a cemetery and a farm.
