Universal Health Services: UHS-Affiliated Psychiatrist Lina Judith Bautista Indicted for Fraud

On January 9, an Anchorage grand jury handed up a 16-count indictment against psychiatrist Lina Judith Bautista, 69, on charges including first-degree theft, scheme to defraud, and medical assistance fraud, among others.

Bautista worked as an independent contractor for several inpatient psychiatric residential treatment programs in the Anchorage area, including Universal Health Services’ North Star Behavioral Health’s main facility and satellite program in Palmer.
