December 5, 2012

On December 5, 2012, the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board reprimanded psychologist Paul Smerz relative to his conduct in a custody evaluation in which the Board’s documents states he “had insufficient knowledge of the individuals involved to determine appropriate placement of [the] children. Smerz took on the evaluation though “he did not regularly perform custody evaluations as part of his daily practice and does not intend to perform such evaluations in the future,” according to the Board’s document.
