Korea Psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong Under Criminal Investigation, 5 Hospital Staff Indicted in Negligence Death of Patient

Five medical staff members have been brought to trial in connection with the death of a woman in her 30s at a psychiatric hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, operated by psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong.

The Bucheon District Office of the Incheon District Prosecutors’ Office said on the 12th that it indicted attending physician A under arrest on charges including occupational negligence resulting in death, and indicted four others, including nurse B, without detention on the same charge.
